Is it ever really too early to start gardening?  Well experienced gardeners would say yes… but we can never wait for spring.  Once those dozens of seed magazines start coming, it’s just too hard to resist.  We planted tomato seeds: pineapple tomatoes, orange tomatoes, black tomatoes and even blue tomatoes!  We’ll just start them on a warming pad and baby them till warm weather gets here and we can put them out in the garden.

Oak Leaf Hydrangea

Today my family brought over two Oak Leaf Hydrangeas from their yard because they grow too large each summer.  I love to take in plants and trees and find them a place.  Oak Leafs have huge oak leaf shaped leaves and these get big white flowers in season.  Winston and I had fun working together to give them a new home near the kids’ play area on the farm.

It was a “movie perfect” fall night when we had 250 of our friends and families from my work (Dave Ramsey) out for ribs and chicken.  The kids ran and played while the growns enjoyed some music and good fellowship.

Sweet 16
