Faith talked me into a driving lesson recently. We didn’t end up in the pond or the barn so I’d say it was a success.

Our awesome friends, the Solomons, threw their sixteen year old son Andrew a suprise birthday party in the loft of the barn. This is the first party up there since we made it a party room. It was a huge hit. There were at least 75 people up there and it didn’t even feel full. Good food and good friends…a great mix!

We took advantage of the warm March weather today for sure. After a big picnic, everyone enjoyed time to rest and to play.

One favorite thing to do at the farm is to climb this 60 year old, 200 ft tall Magnolia tree.

When our four boys run out of things to do around the farm, a good wrestlin’ match is always a fun option…

The loft is finally ready. Six months ago it was full of junk and you had to climb a ladder to get up there. Today the lights were strung, adding the perfect touch. I can’t wait to have some friends out for our first loft party.
