Galloway Farm

While in the back yard area, all of a sudden I had lost sight of 18 month old Claude for a sec.  And then, there he was in the top of our tree house!

  Goosey & Gander are Canadian Geese that spend a month or two at our pond each year.  We are always glad to see them when they return.

 

Sheep are a little shy in general; but I had a chance to wait patiently on Pearl, one of our Southdown BabyDoll Sheep, to get her confidence up enough to eat some sweet feed out of my hand.

  Here’s a quick shot of Pearl giving Flower what we call an open field butt.  These are usually harmless and occur around  feeding time, or anytime that one animal wants to remind another animal who’s boss.
