Well, there’s good news.  And there’s bad news…

The bad news is that our first pumpkin harvest was not enough to have a pumpkin sale.  The good news is that we had fun doing it, and we learned a lot that will help us yield a better crop next year.  We’ll start earlier in the year, till the dirt more times before we plant, and find a better way to keep the weeds out.  We did get 10 cute little pumpkins that we’ll use to decorate for fall and we’ll enjoy these ten little pumpkins more than any we could have bought because we grew them together from seeds.
