It’s no secret that I love to plant trees. Several times each year I can be found planting interesting types of trees around the farm with our children. They love helping and it’s fun for them to learn about different trees.
This weekend we planted my favorite tree of all, American Sycamores. I love those giant leaves and scaly grey bark. We planted four together in an effort to recreate this look that we saw at camp earlier this summer:
We also planted a White Birch and a Quaking Aspen.
